Researchers Profile Japanese Studies
Himawan Pratama
Himawan Pratama is a lecturer at the Faculty of Humanities Universitas Indonesia. Since 2023, he has been serving as the Head of the Center for Japanese Studies at the same university. He is also an active member of the Indonesian Association for Japanese Studies (ASJI). Himawan obtained his Ph.D. in Japan Studies from Tokyo University of Foreign Studies. His research interests include cultural representations of otherness in various Japanese contemporary media, spanning from popular culture works, mass media, to sporting narratives.

I Gede Oeinada
I Gede Oeinada is a full-time lecturer in the Japanese Literature department, Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University since 2011. His master's degree and doctorate in linguistics is pursued in the postgraduate program at Udayana University. He obtained an Educator Certificate in 2013. His interest is in the teaching of foreign languages, translation, and semantics. He is also a member of ASBJI (Indonesian Japanese Language Education Studies Association), MLI (the Linguistic Society of Indonesia), PERSADA (the Japan Alumni Association), and HPI (Indonesian Translator Association).

Idrus, SS, MHum,PhD Dosen Prodi Sastra Jepang dengan keahlian penerjemahan bahasa Jepang, semiotik, pragmatik, sosiolinguistik dan analisis wacana kritis. Aktif dalam berbagai pertemuan ilmiah terkait bahasa dan budaya Jepang. Menyelesaikan pendidikan S1 di Prodi Sastra Jepang Fakultas Sastra Unpad, S2 di Prodi Linguistik FIB UI dan S3 di Prodi International and Advanced Japanese Studies University of Tsukuba Japan dengan disertasi berjudul Manga ni Okeru Onomatope -Nihongo Kara Indonesigo e no o Honyaku Megutte- (Onomatopoeia in Manga—On the Translation from Japanese to Indonesian—).

Nama Imelda. Lahir di Palopo, 27 November 1978. Saat ini bekerja sebagai Pegawai tetap di Universitas Hasanuddin, Departemen Sastra Jepang. Banyak menggeluti penelitian tentang pendidikan dan linguistik bahasa Jepan.

Joyce Anastasia Setyawan
Joyce Anastasia Setyawan is a doctoral student in Graduate School of Humanities, Nagoya University. Her current research interest is Japanese contemporary and adaptation studies.

Kadek Eva Krishna Adnyani
Dr. Kadek Eva Krishna Adnyani, S.S., M.Si. She completed her bachelor's degree in 2008 from the Department of Japanese Literature, Gadjah Mada University. She finished her master's degree in Japanese Area Studies at the University of Indonesia in 2011 and her doctoral degree in Linguistics at Udayana University in 2018. In 2010, she had the opportunity to participate in the "Three Months Language Training and Research Fellowship, Japanese – Language Program for Specialists in Cultural and Academic Fields Scholarship" at The Japan Foundation Japanese-Language Institute, Kansai. In 2022, she participated in the Post Doctoral Program (funded by The Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia) at Kanto Gakuin University, Yokohama.
